A solar panel inverter is one of the most important components in any solar energy system. Its job is to convert the DC electricity generated by the panels into AC electricity used by household appliances and the electricity grid. The inverter also monitors system operation, protects against surge voltage, synchronises with grid frequency and provides data to monitoring systems.

Inverter Not Working — What To Do?

- Check the LED and display — note the error code or message
- Check AC and DC switches — are they switched on?
- Restart the inverter — turn off the AC switch, wait 30 seconds, switch back on
- Check the monitoring app — does the system show an error history?
